Gillian Davis A.R.A.D., Director
Gillian Davis was trained and danced professionally with the
Royal Ballet, London and also with the Rhodesian National Ballet. She has
directed and owned schools in Rhodesia, South Africa and now in the U.S.A. and
has taught at a renowned vocational school in the United Kingdom. She has
been a Royal Academy of Dance examiner for 25 years, being the only Graded and
Vocational examiner in the U.S.A.
Until her move to Florida, she was Chairlady of the Pacific
North West Regional Panel of the Royal Academy of Dancing from its inception.
Before coming to Florida, Mrs. Davis was school director and
youth company director for Ballet Mississippi and then taught for June Taylor
and North West Dance Theatre in Portland, Oregon.
She has choreographed extensively for ballet companies, stage
productions, musicals and competitions and her choreography has been selected
for the Regional Ballet Association's South Eastern Festival and has also won
awards for excellence.
Alsie J. Morris Soprano
Alsie Morris holds a Bachelor of Music, with a major in Voice
Culture and Music Education, as well as an Associate Recital in Voice. (1986)
Alsie has been a voice and music teacher at the St. Joseph
School in the Philippines from 1987 - 1991. She also taught voice and lyric
piano and music studio from 1987-1991 in the Philippines.
Alsie has been a musical director and conductor of a
Filipino-American choir in Long Island, New York from 1994 - 1998. She has
performed in many places in New York City, including Lincoln Center.
Presently, Alsie is a leading Cantor and Choir member at St.
James the Apostle Catholic Church in Port Richey, Florida. She is a new
member and participant of the Show Palace Theater in Hudson, Florida.
Alsie sings at any type of occasion, including weddings and funerals, while also
giving voice lessons to children and adults.
